DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and provider of Market Expansion Services for performance materials, has invested in a specialized facility in India to cater to the significantly growing needs of clients and customers from the paints, coatings and inks industries. It is the third innovation center that DKSH Performance Materials opened in only three years in Mumbai.

The new, 1,000 square feet innovation center is located in the premises of the “Fantree Building” which is in close vicinity to the international airport in Mumbai. It allows the company to further strengthen its Indian network and to provide its customers value-added solutions and services for paints, coatings and inks applications. Staffed with technical experts, the innovation center formulates recipes based on chemical specialties from our suppliers’ portfolio. The center specializes on product evaluation, application performance testing, re-engineering of formulations as per customer requirements, as well as on training of DKSH sales staff and customer workshops.

In line with the company’s strategy for growth, the new research facility allows DKSH to work even closer with key clients in Asia to anticipate market trends and to offer solutions with critical advantages for clients and customers.
